Degreasing & Drying questions
What is the difference between degreasing & drying and acid wash?
Degreasing and drying removes oils and contamination and returns clean, dry parts. Acid wash adds a pickling stage to remove scale and rust, and is usually followed by plating.
Will parts rust after degreasing?
Degreased steel has no protective oil film, so we dry parts thoroughly and pack them promptly. If parts will be stored for long periods, ask us about a rust-preventive or plating option.
Can you handle small lots?
Yes. Degreasing and drying is a short process and we regularly run smaller and urgent lots alongside production batches.
